Hi everybody!
Here's the latest article from the Astronomy site at BellaOnline.com.
What is Hanny's Voorwerp
Hanny's Voorwerp was first seen in 2007 – a strange blue blob in the constellation of Leo Minor. Since then it has been imaged by large telescopes in visible light, ultraviolet light, infrared light, radio waves and x-rays, but astronomers still don't agree about what the mystery object is.

If you want to read the comic book version of Hanny's discovery, you can download it at http://hannysvoorwerp.zooniverse.org/sandbox/Downloads/VoorwerpComic.pdf. (There is some dramatic license!)
There are beautiful sunset sights these days. I saw the crescent moon, a bright Venus and Jupiter all in a diagonal line in the west Thursday evening. It looked something like this picture taken by Rafael Schmall. http://spaceweather.com/images2012/24feb12/line2_strip.jpg
More beautiful planetary sights the weekend of the 25th February. This NASA video will tell you what to expect. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8br4JiFEik
