| Hello everyone, This week I published the second article in the beginning bead weaving series. The peyote stitch is often considered the easiest of the bead weaving stitches, but it produces gorgeous results. If you have never tried it, or haven't tried it for a while, take a stab at the simple bracelet band in the new project. I designed it with funky stripes inspired by grosgrain ribbon, and you can substitute your own colors or even use one solid color to great effect. Flat peyote jewelry is slinky and very tactile, making it fun to wear - and even to just hold and look at. In next week's project, I explain how to make a matching beaded toggle clasp. If you have questions or comments about the peyote stitch or this week's project, be sure to post them in the forum. Until next time, ~ Chris
