Here's the result of having spent far too much time this past week watching documentaries on my computer. (I don't have television.) Some Spring gardening had made my back hurt too much to continue, so I was knitting while learning about tornados and tidal waves, earthquakes and volcanos, poisonous animals and falling asteroids, plus a sprinkling of lost civilizations.
Whew! I began to realize just how dangerous living on this planet can be!! You can find endless reasons to be anxious, even without watching the news of all the latest human folly. So I took a look at what religion in general and the Bahá'í Faith specifically have to say about worry, in the latest article from the Bahá'í site at BellaOnline.com.
Do Bahá'ís Worry?
Well, yes--and no. There is no way any sensible person cannot be stressed by a daily dose of natural and human disasters. Bahá'ís, however, worry about character and virtues before responding.
