It’s a Dirty World
It's a dirty world we live in. Literally, of course, our planet is made of dirt. Spend any time on it, and you're going to get dirty. When Jesus washed the dirt off His disciples’ feet at the last supper, he was teaching them several things, including the necessity of daily confession of sin.
From My Heart to Yours
It’s raining today in Idaho, where I live. Spring is just around the corner, and so is Resurrection Day, which we usually call Easter. This week, let me encourage you to read through the gospel passages about Jesus’ last week before He was killed. Spend some time trying to get the smell of Jerusalem dust in your nostrils, and the sound of a mob in your ears, cheering for their Messiah one day, and crying out for his death a few days later. Prepare your heart for celebrating His magnificent gift to us—eternal life in His arms. Surely there can be no more profitable meditation.
