Hello and Welcome to all Readers

If you are joining me for the first time I want to extend a warm welcome to you.

On Saturday my family gave me a surprise 50th birthday party. I got a chance to see my second granddaughter for the first time since she's been home. It was a joy to see her and hold her. She will be 8 weeks old

Here's the funny thing though. My son kept telling me that her eyes were blue. Well, I got to see it for myself. She has very dark hazel blue eyes. You almost can't tell the difference between where the color starts and start at her pupils.

Now for the funny part. We don't know what side of the family she get's it from. My son is Black mixed with a little French Canadian. His fiancé is Hispanic. They both have beautiful brown eyes. Where did the blue eyes come from? We may never know. The mother says there's no one on her side she knows of that has those eyes. And my son; well maybe it is the French Canadian in him.

Now this is the same son who has a daughter 6 years old. I have referred to her an different occasions in some of my articles and in the forums. Her mother was Irish and German as far as we know. So as you can see the challenge of beauty still goes on in the ethnic and multiethnic world.

I hope I can be an inspiration and encouragement to many of you who can't seem to quite find the right look or the right makeup, skin care, etc. I am here to make your Ethnic Beauty unique to you, by using your own preferences.
