Italian Steak Sandwich Recipe

Greetings from the Land of OZ!

Almost a year ago, I started working toward becoming the BellaOnline Sandwiches Editor. One of the first sandwiches that I tried to develop after I became the editor was an Italian Steak Sandwich. It didn't turn out so hotsy! Italian Steak Sandwiches were part of my youth, but they are really hard to find now. Apparently, they were confined to a small area of the Midwest.

Over the past year, I just kept trying, and this week I got it right! I hope you enjoy this little piece of paradise on a bun. Don't be daunted by the breading. There are instructions so that you don't wind up with all ten of your fingers gooed up. Well, if I have an ADD moment, it can still happen, but there is a great technique for keeping it from happening to you.
