| | For this issue I have a review of Kate Pullen's recent book on crochet and knit wire jewelry. If you've never tried these techniques before, pick up some tiny 36-gauge wire and some old crochet hooks and knitting needles and give them a try. Once you get the hang of it, it's quite addicting! I also have a new magazine directory for the site, and I found a great example of one of my new favorite products, the anti-tarnish storage box. Enjoy, ~ Chris
| Crochet and Knit Wire Jewelry - Book Review Author and metalsmith Kate Pullen provides step-by-step instructions for 25 original jewelry projects that you can crochet and knit using wire instead of yarn.

| Anti-tarnish Cloth-Lined Silver Storage Box
So far I've only heard good things about these anti-tarnish cloth-lined jewelry boxes for keeping sterling jewelry and components tarnish free - or nearly tarnish free. This one from Stacks and Stacks is especially nice for jewelry crafters because it has so many differently sized compartments. |
