Hello again, friends~

Hope you're doing well and taking the time to enjoy life. It's a good idea to find something to appreciate every day without waiting for everything to be perfectly smooth-running. Sometimes, we don't allow ourselves to be happy unless all the stars are in perfect alignment, our bank accounts are padded, our homes are designer beautiful and our spouses remembered to take out the trash. But our joy shouldn't rely on such matters.

Far be it from me to tell you what should make you happy, but let me share a few personal things going on in my life right now:

My uncle, who is a second father to me, is dying from pancreatic cancer. His wife, my dear aunt, took a fall and was in and out of the ER this past weekend. She herself is awaiting test results about possible disease. I moved across the street to be near. My daughter is undergoing weekly infusions as she was recently diagnosed with the same genetic disorder that killed my son seven years ago. And my diabetes is uncontrolled and causing problems. My husband is self-employed so we don't have medical insurance!

...and yet...

Life is good. I am thankful for the love in my life...for my wonderful family and friends...for the good health that we do have as compared to others who have never known a single day of good health free of pain...

We live on a beautiful planet filled with flora and fauna that take my breath away. I'm thankful for the Internet and sites like BellaOnline.com where people around the globe that communicate with each other at the click of a mouse. You and I share common bonds as members of this human family.

So, please try to do something today to enjoy your life. Appreciate all you have. Appreciate YOU.
