No Cake Mix Religion for Me

I read that when cake mixes were first developed, all the ingredients needed were in the mix. All you had to do was add water and stir. But women didn’t like that, feeling it didn't count as cooking. We want so much to add ingredients to our salvation, but Jesus has provided everything necessary.

I’m getting my garden planted, little by little. Sunny warm days provide motivation to get out and let the sun warm my back as I poke those wrinkly little promise-of-yummy-peas seeds in the rich earth. May He bless our gardens and our minds and hearts with abundant and fruitful growth this season!
