May 2 2008 Creativity Newsletter

Hello Bella Creativity readers. Thanks for hanging in there with me as I learned the ropes this first month at Bella Online. I’m so excited to be the new Creativity Editor and really wanted you to get to know me as a human being and not just as an invisible writer on the other end of your screen. I don’t know where everyone lives, but I just experienced the longest, coldest winter of my life here in Michigan (USA).
I thought warm weather would never arrive, but alas, it is finally here.

Here's the latest articles on the Creativity site...

Creative Shopping the Consignment Way- Consignment shopping is an off the beaten path way of finding one-of-a-kind treasures that you normally can´t find in modern department stores.

Steps to Take to Be Creative – This article talks about 12 easy steps to take to be creative.
(Thanks for forum input on this article!)

Space to Create In – This article talks about how when we fail to designate space to create in we don’t express our true passions, causing us to be unhappy with ourselves. I hope everyone is doing spring cleaning and setting aside space just for yourselves to do your creative thing.

I’m too excited - Jerry Wennstrom’s, wife and agent contacted me and wanted to know if I wanted to interview this very acclaimed artist. I will be talking to him in the near future and reporting to you the transformational process he went through with his unusual art.

I hope to see people jumping in and both posting and responding on forum. Please don’t ever be reluctant to post anything on the Creativity Site. Shoot, if we can’t be creative on our forum, where can we be? I post things and then if no one responds, I will often answer my own questions in hope that it will encourage people to jump in. No one is being judged for his or her comments, so please feel free at all times to speak your mind. That’s what the forum is all about - us women, (men too) having healthy interaction about anything that comes to mind within the realms of the creative process.

Speaking of process, my process of writing was to start out in areas of general interest and in introductory subjects related to Creativity. I will transition into more intricate branches of creativity as time goes by. However, I wanted to define the site for the readers that visit and to have a starting point to move from.

I look forward to writing articles in the months to come and to hear from you in forum. I like getting emails too. Take care and keep creating!
