Introduction - Greetings to all Newsletter and Ezine Subscribers and a special welcome to all newcomers and visitors.

Hope everyone had a good and safe Memorial Day weekend.
Our weekend here in the northeast was a little damp and even cold. We made it down to 48 degrees during the day. The last time we had these temperatures during this time of the year was in 1967. Now we're expecting temperatures to rise into the 90's by the end of the week.
Summer is on it's way!

This week we are looking at promotional articles and how to utilize them for promoting newsletters or ezines.

Promotion is not the same as marketing, although they do go hand and hand. Whenever promoting something it's more about educating people and informing them. It's about helping them make an educated decision as to whether or not they should or shouldn't subscribe. At this point you are not trying to sell them on something, but you are trying to convince or persuade them on the other hand.
