You know how Life is what happens while you were planning other things? Well that certainly defines MY life this week! The moving truck comes Monday, as in day after tomorrow, to pick up all those boxes we have been packing for a month. And we are planning to drive ourselves out to California from Michigan the day after that. The other car will stay here with a daughter...so both have been to the shop for tune-ups, etc. And Thursday on the way home from the mechanic, it is rush hour traffic, so I'm being very careful--not admiring spring gardens or anything, honest!

I've stopped in a long line of cars waiting at an intersection, the car behind me stops, but the next car doesn't. Crash debris really does fly in slow motion, no lie! None of us are hurt, but the tail gate of my car is mushed. It will take at least a week to fix it. And the other car will not make a 2500 mile trip.

So, we now have an affordable 'new' used car in record time, daughter who will be commuting to Detroit has the better of the old cars, and I'm sort of floating along in a daze that this has all worked out so well. I know I'm supposed to be learning how to 'go with the flow,' detached from fussing, etc. But this is ridiculous! Since last November when Plan 1A went into action, there have been so many changes that we are now at about 12F, or maybe G.
