Greetings Everyone ~

The weekend is winding down and I am still preparing for the IEP on Wednesday for Matthew. I learned the other day that the OT asked for AT to come and consult. So AAC, AT, Psychologist, Adaptive PE, SLP, OT, teacher, Program Specialist and Administrator plus myself will be attending. Since the meeting is at 11 am I am thinking I may have to go back to finish it the next day. The same thing happened the year before and that IEP started early in the morning.

Basically I want a new aide, but doubt that will happen. I want related services during intersession in Jan and Feb. I want to be notified when there are staff changes. I want comp time for the Speech to take place in the classroom.

I am still waiting for service logs from speech therapist. I spoke to the head person last week when I received a response from Administrator that I could not get service logs. This was the information passed down from Program Specialist and incorrect. I was told I will get them Tuesday. My main concern was why did Matthew have a classroom goal for speech when he is being pulled out for speech and what is taking place there. It is to be for twice a week and he has only received one time per week all year.

I have posted the selections for both June and July for the book club. The emphasis for both books is on Teenagers.
