From my heart to yours
Mowing the lawn, hanging out laundry--ain’t summer grand? Now if we could just figure out what’s eating the broccoli plants in the garden! I’ve planted it twice and something ate it to bare stems twice. It’s a very particular creature--doesn’t touch the lettuces or asparagus, just the broccoli. But husband and I have a plan, involving a third sacrificial planting of broccoli, and a motion activated camera. Once we know who the perpetrator is, we can figure out how to deal with it. I always say that gardening in north Idaho is an adventure, but this is a new one for me!
