Our hawks are no longer babies and have left the nest with their names, Redbird and Keetowah. But the “Nest Watch” continues and now includes the entire yard. Keetowah had a successful hunt this week and the sibling rivalry continues. There was no sharing with Redbird, just some mocking and squawking. I look forward to spending my summer with these two. They never fail to bring smiles.
With massive wildfires in the Southwest, some large ones continue to burn here in the Southeast. Please join us in meditation and prayers for rain and for firefighters in the affected areas. They need our support as they tirelessly fend off the flames.
