Bible Basics

June 20 2013 Bible Basics Newsletter

Greetings!

One of the shortest books in the Bible is John’s second letter to a mysterious person called, ‘the elect lady’. This Epistle’s brevity does not in any way diminish its precious content focused towards ridding the Church of false teachers and their doctrines. 2 John is just as important today in our Churches, where false teachings continue to lead many astray. John presents the Truth as revealed in God’s word as the only shield against heresy and we would do well to listen to wise old John on this. Here’s more on 2 John in this week’s update!
