Greetings and Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Did you know that June is one of the most popular wedding months? Not only is the weather beautiful, with an abundance of floral options to choose from, but there is also superstition and tradition linking this month to wedding popularity.

June is supposedly a lucky month to marry as it is believed the ancient Roman goddess of marriage, Juno, showers luck and prosperity on couples tying the knot this month.

Another nod to June weddings of old is the concept of the "annual bath." Much less romantic than the goddess, Juno, the month of June was once marked as the time individuals bathed (the one and only time per year). This yearly endeavor happened to coincide with many couples marrying while they were still fresh from a summer shower.

Whatever the reason, June is a beautiful month for weddings! Congratulations to all the June brides!
