Greetings Everyone ~
It is a hot weekend here in Los Angeles. We have had a new respite worker over three times now to get the schedule of the boys down and also for my kids to become used to this girl. So it looks like I will be attending the Saturday conference in Pasadena on Saturday, August 19th with funding through the regional center for the conference and respite.
I kept a log on Saturday of the times I fed kids, changed diaper, etc so she has something to follow along to. If anyone located in Southern California is planning on attending the Back to School Autism/Asperger's Conference in Pasadena on Saturday, August 19th and would like to meet up at lunch time to check out exhibits and get a bite to eat, email me and maybe we can gather a few people together.
Here is a series of articles from Northern California on the California System for the Disabled - shows what happens as they get older and live independently and in group homes -

Luckily I have no intention of either of my children living in such a facility and will care for Matthew myself. Good luck in the coming hot week and enjoy your kids.
