Summer Squash Burger Recipe
Greetings from the Land of OZ!
If the heat hasn't killed off everything in your garden, I'll bet you have a few squash! A reader asked for a sandwich that uses squash, and I am happy to oblige. My family is also happy, since they really enjoyed the Summer Squash Burgers.
What do you do when you have a lot of squash in the fridge? Make Summer Squash Burgers! Made with yellow summer squash or zucchini, this burger is low in cost, but high in flavor. Amaze your friends and family. Show them what you can do with squash!
Today I had a Summer Squash Burger for lunch. On a sandwich thin, I spread a little barbecue sauce. I like Joe's Original Kansas City style from Oklahoma Joe's, but KC Masterpiece or your favorite would also work. That sandwich was great!

Let me know how you dressed your Summer Squash Burger. Did your summer squash or zucchini come from your neighbor's garden? Remember, if they give you a baseball bat squash, peel it and remove the seeds. Then, process as usual.
