Greetings!

It has finally happened - I bought a new computer to replace my *really* old machine. As happy as I am about a new computer I was nervous when I purchased the computer has it came with Windows Vista and I was not sure if I was ready to take the plunge. But due necessity and the end-of-life of Windows XP I had no choice but to use Vista.

This week I provide a quick overview of my first impressions of the operating system. As I start to become more familiar with the software I will document what I learn about the operating system and write-up the information in a series of articles.

The Move to Windows Vista
It finally happened - I bought a new machine and in the process took the plunge into Windows Vista - Microsoft's new operating system. After reading the reviews of Vista I was hesitant to upgrade but had no choice with the new computer - here is my quick write-up of my first thoughts of Vista.

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback!

Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
