Being a night owl, I’m often up until the wee hours, usually trying to find something interesting on TV while I knit. The History Channel’s series Ancient Alien is at the very least thought provoking. The segment on this show was the first I had ever heard of red haired giants in Nevada. There are some interesting bits on the internet about giants in North America, not only in Nevada. But all the mysteries are yet to be revealed, as well as the bones.

There’s some good news from Nevada! The rains came, taking care of the wildfires. But there will be much work to replant the burned areas to protect the watersheds and rebuild structures lost. If you’ll be in the lovely state of Nevada in the coming months, plan a stop at some of the areas affected by the fires, such as the parks and monuments.
