The Prison Creative Arts Project is a program at the University of Michigan that was implemented in 1990 by Buzz Alexander to make the arts accessible to everyone and to create spaces inside to give voice to the incarcerated.

Hello everyone. Hope your summer is coming to an end nicely and you are getting in some last minute warm weather fun in before fall hits.
This week I went to the University of Michigan to interview the Administrator of the Prison Creative Arts Program. She enlightened me on the need of those incarcerated to have access to the creative arts while they are serving their time and being rehabilitated.
