August 18 2008 PC Advice Newsletter

Greetings!

It has been several weeks since my last newsletter and I have been very busy breaking-in and enjoying my new laptop. I have also been working hard to get used to using Windows Vista which I have been enjoying despite the horror stories I have heard. There has definitely been a learning curve and some occasional frustrations when I could not figure something out but overall it appears to be a stable and worthwhile operating system. Note: I reserve the right to change my view at any point if I deem it necessary! ;-)

The last two posted articles are about Windows Vista - one article is about resolving some basic irritations and the second article is how to customize the sidebar. Links to bother articles are listed below - enjoy!

Resolve Microsoft Vista Irritations
My adventure into the Microsoft Vista operating system continues has I try to learn the new operating system and what it has to offer - or in some cases not offer. This article describes some of the minor irritations that I have experienced while learning the new operating system.

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback!

Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
