Osiyo! Greetings to all from Northern Nevada! Wakan Tanan Kici Un.

Today is a gorgeous day here in Washoe Valley. Early yesterday morning, just after daybreak, I was outside and saw some of the most beautiful clouds - they were whispy and delicate and covered the whole sky, as if the ancestors were painting a loving memory for us. I have never seen such beauty and sat relaxing with my coffee, seeing many different images in those clouds. It was a perfect example of the phrase: Walk in Beauty. What a wonderful way to start the day! Today looks like it will be just as lovely.

I have some new friends who have joined my forum and they are wonderful people. I would like to extend an invitation to you to come visit us at the Native American Forum. You are most welcome to share your stories, legends and any information regarding Native American issues, news and fun! You may sign up for free and start posting right away - so, come join our Campfire Circle and give us your thoughts. Have a question? Need some advice? One Onion, chopped
2 tablespoons butter

Rinse lima beans, pick out any unwanted peices, place in a large heavy duty pot.
Add water, and all other ingredients exept corn.
Bring to a boil.
Cook gently till beans are tender.
Add cream corn and cook for about 5 minutes longer, till corn is heated.
