| | Hi everyone, Things have been a little slow in the world of jewelry making this month, which isn't really unusual for August. Lots of interesting things will start happening in fall, including the release of the newest round of project books and the annual scramble to finish holiday designs. This week I published a new free necklace project featuring sterling-silver forged links, and next week I'll show you how to give it an optional, oxidized finish. We'll also take a look at fall and winter jewelry fashion-trends shortly - but be forewarned, there isn't a whole lot new-and-exiting going on in the fashion realm at the moment. I suspect (and hope!) that next year will bring some major changes and new and interesting designs. If you're working on inventing some of your own, consider sharing them in the newly-upgraded forum! Chris
