Greetings from the Land of Oz!

Our weather pattern broke, and it's considerably cooler here with a slight touch of rain. I am so happy about that. Teachers go back to school next week, and I have no desire to teach kids in a classroom that is over 100 degrees. Been there-done that-don't care to do it again. Yes, we have air conditioning, but it is a bit finicky.

As I read through the recipe, it struck me that I wrote this article in my biology teacher mode! This week we have a side salad made of broccoli that was very popular with my family when I made it.
