September 25 2012 Native American Newsletter

Greetings! Autumn marks the transition from summer to fall in the most magnificent way! The Puget Sound area is alive with the colors of fall, bursts of luscious red, bright orange, deep purple and velvety greens.

Native wisdom teaches us to look upon life as a circle and to observe and honor the changing of the seasons. Our Earth Mother teaches us that change is good, actually quite miraculous and beautiful.

Luckily, the daily clock is in a circle too because there are times when I need a new perspective. Prayer and a good night’s sleep is a sacred cycle unto itself!

This new article is inspired by the need for us to clear and release emotions which do not serve our best selves. This article reminds us that negativity is contagious. Taking some time now to gather and restore our positive energy will keep us safe, warm and joyful all winter.

Here's the latest article from the Native American site at BellaOnline.com.

Spirit of Forgiveness
Guard your soul, oh precious one, especially if you have been hurt before, especially if you have a warrior’s heart. The harder our shell, the easier we shatter. Deep within the abyss of pain lie the roots of what was planted long ago.
