Italian Beef Burger Recipe
Greetings from the Land of OZ!
How was your holiday? Are you ready for something other than turkey in your diet? The sandwich of the week is a totally easy one to make. For a quick-to-make and extremely tasty burger, try these Italian Beef Burgers! They take less than thirty minutes from the time that you start making them to when they are on your table.
Here is a variation that I did not put into the main article.
Make the Italian Beef Burger Recipe. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Form the meat mixture into small balls, about the size of a large walnut. Place the meatballs on a jelly roll pan, so that they do not touch. I like to put foil on the pan for easy clean up. Put the jelly roll pan in the oven for 20 minutes until the meatballs are firm. Remove them from the oven.
In a large saucepan heat your favorite spaghetti sauce. Add the baked meatballs and simmer for 20 minutes. You may serve them with a bit of sauce and some provolone or mozzarella cheese on a hoagie bun or Italian roll. Cool the leftovers and store them in a freezer bag. They freeze well and are easily warmed in the microwave. Remember to warm them in a glass container and not in the plastic storage bag. I hope you enjoy these!
