Spinach Dip and Pinwheel Recipe
Greetings from the Land of OZ!
When I took this job, I knew that I would develop some healthier recipes. Dips are well-loved foods, but so many times they are filled with fat. Healthy doesn't mean bland or boring. This Spinach Dip and Pinwheel Recipe has less fat than many dip recipes. It's filled with low carb, tasty spinach and has a great balance of smooth to tangy tastes. Use it to serve with a sandwich and chips. Spread it on your sandwich, or make pinwheels.
This is a great recipe to take to a potluck or party! A couple of years ago, I had leftover pepperoni and spinach dip. I combined it into some pinwheels, that the students call roll-ups, and took them to school. I knew the staff would like them, but the students went crazy over them! These roll-ups using the spinach dip are a delicious treat. Serve them with a steaming cup of the Turkey Vegetable Soup for a healthy meal.
