Here's the latest article from the Sandwiches site at BellaOnline.com.
Greetings from the Land of OZ!
You don't have to use beef for this braided sandwich. If you have leftover meat of any kind, mix a little mayo and cream cheese in. Use ham, chicken, or turkey! Add your choice of seasonings, veggies, and cheese. Then, bake away. I use the Pillsbury rolls because they have an un-perforated sheet of dough and the dough unrolls more easily than my usual store brand. Use your preferred brand of rolls. If you don't mind messing with dough, the store brands are usually less expensive.
Braided Beef Sandwich Recipe
I saw a demonstration for making a braided sandwich on the internet. This one uses a roast beef filling, using leftover roast beef, veggies, and cheese. It is a savory filling, just perfect to use in this easy crust. Why is it easy? You can buy some crescent roll dough in a can at the store.
