Hot Chicken with Mushrooms in Wine Sandwich Recipe
Greetings from the Land of OZ!
When I want to feed a crowd or make enough of a dish to have leftovers, I think of cooking with chicken. Our local Aldi store has frozen skinless, boneless chicken thighs and breasts. Both are reasonably priced.
Do you have a big bag of frozen chicken, but you don't have time to thaw it? This recipe uses individually frozen boneless chicken thighs or breasts. With the additions of cooking wine, seasonings, and mushrooms, those frozen chicken parts become a succulent hot sandwich.
This recipe is nice enough to serve to company or at a special dinner. However, it won't break the piggy bank to purchase the ingredients.
