Olive Walnut and Cream Cheese Spread Recipe
Greetings from the Land of OZ!
In the summer when I am on the go, I want something quick and easy to make into a sandwich. It also has to taste great! This week's offering is all of those things. Combine the ancient goodness of olives and walnuts to make a modern savory sandwich spread. This low carb spread is especially tasty on a variety of open-face sandwiches and as a filling for roll-ups.
Stuff it into celery sticks, or use pieces of celery as vegetable dippers. The small sweet peppers are also excellent to use with this spread.
By thinning the spread slightly with mayonnaise, yogurt, or sour cream, it is also fantastic as a dip with corn or whole grain chips
