Gouda and Chicken Sandwich Recipe

Greetings from the Land of OZ!

When I made my monthly Costco trip this week, it was sample time! I've found several new favorites for our family by checking out their generous samples. This week, they had Gouda cheese from the Heartland Creamery. This was the second time that I found myself sampling the cheeses from Heartland Creamery. They are fantastic! If you live in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, or Nebraska, try to find some. You won't be disappointed.

Heartland Creamery and Heartland Dairy are major employers in the small town of Newark, Missouri. They help struggling people get back on their feet by teaching them job skills. That's why they can make cheese the old-fashioned way, with care and the human touch.

I also tried Whole Grain Bread from LaBrea Bakery. (As you can see, it was a big Costco day!) This reminds me of a bread that I had in Seattle when I was visiting there. If you can get your hands on a loaf, don't pass it up. This is just the very best bread!

Making a sandwich is not hard. Creating a great sandwich needs fabulous ingredients. Heartland Creamery's cheeses and LaBrea Bakery's breads are ingredients that you dream of finding. Combined as a Gouda and Chicken Sandwich on Whole Grain Bread, it's a simple-to-make sandwich that's fantastic.
