Peanut Butter Sandwich Ideas
Greetings from the Land of OZ!
A reader asked for some ideas for making peanut butter sandwiches. They are her favorite sandwich. What do you like on your peanut butter sandwich? Is it the classic grape jelly and white bread? That's always a tasty combination. The ideas here will give you a chance to take your peanut butter sandwich in a completely different direction. Accept the challenge and enjoy your sandwich adventure!
Speaking of a challenge, when our oldest son was a toddler, he was a picky eater. Do you have any of those little critters that just won't seem to eat anything nutritious? I started making him something that I called "mash." It was a banana, about two tablespoons of peanut butter, and a tablespoon full of mayonnaise. I mashed it all together into a disgusting looking gooey mash. He loved it! It was good just spooned from a cup, in a sandwich, on saltines, or spread over a tortilla and rolled up. If you have a picky eater, give it a try! If you don't like the mayonnaise in there, just add a teaspoon of milk to loosen up the mash mixture.
