I was updating the article on Bahá'í dating but discovered I was in such a negative mood that I couldn't find a single nice thing to say about any of the several sites now advertising as such. The curmudgeonly view spilled over into other areas of life, generating snide comments about neighbors who make noise when drunk, drought weather browning the hills, spider webs only in ceiling corners I can't reach, potted plants not blooming, and on and on. Clearly, attitude colors perception, and bodily aches and pains effect my attitude! So I put aside that article idea for a later date when I hope to be in a more generous mood.
In its stead, here's the latest article from the Baha'i site at BellaOnline.com.
A Spiritual Basis for Ills
Religion has been in the health business far longer than science, but blaming all ills on turning away from God's laws may be a gross over simplification of a complex Creation. Health and wellness of individuals or society need to be viewed holistically, both materially and spiritually.
