Can you believe the weather in the US, today?? New England has snow before the Autumn leaves have all fallen off the trees, and out here in California it is 80 degrees on the coast, with blue skies and summer clothing. In neither place is this expected weather for this time of year. Life is full of surprises!

One of those surprises is how happy it can make people to be of service to others. Every disaster brings out this aspect of human nature, with neighbors helping neighbors and even total strangers in need. But it happens on a daily basis, too, in a myriad of little ways. The Bahá'í Faith teaches that service to others is the highest station any soul can reach.
