Greetings Everyone! Hope everyone has a great weekend. This week we are going to look at a brief explanation of the Four Noble Truths. In future articles, I will be breaking each of them down and discussing the meaning of each. I am going to have conversations in the  forum as well. You will find the link below.

I am looking for blogs that discuss Buddhism. I will be making a list of them and posting a link with the listing in it. Please email me with your suggestions!

Announcement

I am looking for blogs that discuss Buddhism. If you know of any, please email me. Thanks!

I have been participating in an online study group for several months now. We have bi-weekly chats in an AOL chatroom. Even if you can't participate in the online chats, the lessons that are sent out are very valuable. I invite everyone to sign up for the mailing list and try to come to one of the chat sessions.

Buddhism Basics and Beyond - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BuddhismBasicsAndBeyond/

From part of the description:

"Buddhism is a Vast and Beautiful Philosophy, Religion and Life Path. Buddhism combines Intellect, Intuition as well as Body, Mind and Speech into a system of finding and living our own True Nature.

As we study, contemplate, meditate and grow into this path, we discover that Our Own True Nature is a ‘Suchness’ of Loving-kindness, Compassion, Joy, Equanimity, Wisdom and Bodhicitta. Bodhicitta is the Desire to Become Enlightened for the benefit of all sentient beings – including ourselves.

BBnB works by implementing a “Two Discussion Approach.” One, a series of Discussions where people can learn the Basics of the many Schools from the Ground Up. This is of great help to everyone as there is not much opportunity in the various centers to learn of Buddhism as a Whole. The Second Approach is “Beyond the Basics,” a look at the many topics of Buddhism in depth."

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback!

Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
