Good evening and welcome to our newest forum and newsletter subscribers!

It's a cooler but lovely late afternoon. The leaves are gently floating like feathers in the wind onto the back-porch, while the very tops of the Elms, Oaks and Walnut trees, host an entirely different show with colors ranging from golden amber to fire-reds, yellows and greens (the greens, not muchlonger I suspect)!

The squirrels are busy at work burying their "finds," even helping some of the more stubbon walnuts clinging for dear life to their branches, along their way, for future necessity! As well, so should we all be thinking ahead by bringing in a few herbed potted plants, or a secret of mine, which is gathering leaves this time of year, green, brown, pine, even scented ground coverings. Seal them up in a good quality freezer bag and take them out when you're feeling especially desirous of nature's bounty. Crush a few in your hand or make a potporri on the stove with boiling water, and deeply inhale the essence of what will be yet once again!

There's always essential oils, but, again, thinking ahead, maybe along with some "seasonal scents such as pine and cinnamon, grab up some of those discounted spring scents, your imagination and a good bath of laundry can do wonders with ;)
