September 17 2008 Deafness Newsletter

Hello again.
It's been a hectic few weeks for me over here. I do hope you have still had time to visit the site and see the latest articles.

I have spent days at the Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Show talking to people about deafness and Cochlear Implants. And immediately after that I went to a Deafness Conference in Darwin - the northern most state capital in Australia. I had not been there before so it was wonderful to experience the 'top end' and visit Kakadu a World Heritage National park.

I will include some articles gained from the Conference in the future. In the meantime, ere's the latest article from the Deafness site at

Please visit for even more great content about Deafness.

To participate in free, fun online discussions, this site has a community forum all about Deafness located here -

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback!

Please feel free to pass this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
