Supposedly intended as a spiritual meditation, Gibson's The Passion of the Christ is a brutal exercise in sadism which takes the "good" out of the Good News.

I put off watching this movie as long as possible. I'd heard how bloody it was. If you haven't seen it yourself, you may want to read my review before deciding whether or not you really want to.
