In dream symbol language, there are "universal" symbols which have the same meaning for the general population due to our shared human experience and "accidental" symbols which have meanings that are specific to the individual based upon personal life experiences. For example, dream roses typically represent love because of their exquisite beauty and fragrance, but if a person associates roses with death and funerals, the appearance of roses in his dreams may feel more ominous.

Christmas is both a universal and accidental dream symbol. Christmas tends to have a favorable meaning, but it isn't always the case. When you dream about Christmas, consider the emotions felt during the dream and all of the other contextual dream clues.

You can read about specific Christmas dream scenarios in the latest article from the Dreams site at BellaOnline.com.

Christmas Dream Symbol
Although Christmas isn't always celebrated with the birth of Jesus in mind, the holidays represent good will toward all men. When your dream is set during this season, consider your own relationship to Christmas. Do you have good feelings about Christmas?
