You get a double helping of articles this week. Partly because it's Celtic New Year! Happy New Year! Or Halloween to the rest of you!

Irish Halloween or Samhain
Halloween, or Samhain, used to be the Celtic New Year. It is still an important festival in the Irish calendar, warranting, like St. Patrick's Day, a bank holiday. The ancient traditions always get a modern twist!

I've also posted another book review with a book that I constantly recommend when asked what one should read to prep for a trip to Ireland. Hope these recommendations make your Christmas shopping list.
