October 26 2011 Native American Newsletter

Greetings from the Deep South, where it FINALLY feels like Fall. We do have a few trees with brilliant leaves scattered amongst the pine and oak. Now that Fall has arrived so has flu season. With that comes the need to pay a little more attention to our immune system, which can be greatly enhanced by our diet.

Here's the latest article from the Native American site at BellaOnline.com.

While some might think this just another "Fad," there are many of American Indian ancestry who have greatly benefited from eating the Old Way. There is some science to this ethnic/diet connection too. Getting back to natural and away from processed foods and particularly sugar can also assist our immune systems and keep us healthy during the changing seasons.

Have you tried the Paleo Diet? Why not join us in the forum and let us know how it worked for you? It's Free and Easy to join, and you are always among friends. Hope to see you there soon!
