This week's article is inspired by my experience each time I visit family in the state of Montana. My intent is not to highlight the negative but to start a process of healing and understanding. So far, I'm stuck mostly at the baffled stage. Or worse yet, sometimes am captured by the negativity and jump right into CrAzY!
During a recent visit to Crow Agency, I "coincidentally" came across the term, micro-aggressions, as it pertains to racism. It opened a door to understanding and healing. A crack, at least. I pray for the strength to push the door open fully. Soon.
