I thought I'd go on a limb this week and write about the 3.x Open Gaming License. It's got different implications for casual gamers and serious publishers. This article can't replace reading the OGL yourself nor legal counsel but it's a decent introduction to the system and what it entails.
The 3.x Open Game License
Do you need a new system for your group? Have you encountered the "Open Game License" from Wizards of the Coast? This one's free and has a whole lot of "Open Game Content." Here's an introduction to how the license works and a simplified explanation of product identity.
