My children have learned the joys of crafting as well. I have three children, a daughter who is 17, a son who is 14 and a daughter who is 7. Many times, they will make things for friends and family just because the art of crafting is fun. When my youngest has friends over to play, she always asks me to have a craft for them to do. Many times, we have hosted parties for the kids, and crafting has been a focal point at the request of my children, as well as the guests.
In addition to being a mom, I have also been a Den Leader for Cub Scouts and am now a Girl Scout Leader for my youngest daughter. Having 20 girls to entertain for 90 minutes presents quite a challenge, but we have had some fun projects and used them for many different events and occasions. I hope to share some of these ideas with you, and I hope you will do the same for me.
