Obtaining her Certificate in Public Policy and Regulation as well as a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa, College of Law enabled Gina to hone her skills as a researcher and writer and to posture herself easily in order to observe women and the attitudes toward them in many different situations and walks of life – some light, many dark. Likewise, her personal and professional experiences have given her a unique perspective on the issues we face as women.
A voracious reader, mother of two and a former prison warden’s daughter, Gina believes the best place to argue religion and politics is at the dinner table; thinks the fuss over gender neutral pronouns is a waste of breathable air and is not ashamed to advise that she was ecstatic that “her” Starbuck’s was not on the chain’s closing hit-list!
Her interests as they pertain to women’s issues include the obvious as covered nationally and internationally in the media and the not so obvious –which typically means not enough people are paying attention.
