Because of her grandmotherīs influence, she ended up as an Editorial Assistant at Vanderbilt University Medical School in Nashville, Tennessee, many years later. Living in a bad marriage at the time, she foresaw the need to earn enough money for the family and so completed a degree in Court Reporting in Tennessee. Working as a reporter for 15 years while she raised her family, she began to write and admits, "Itīs in my blood. It just wonīt go away."
Along with the love of writing, BettyAnn is an avid reader, reading as many as sometimes a book a week and sometimes one a day. "Most of what I read is what I write," she says, "Christian fiction and nonfiction." She also admits to being a mom to 5 and a grandmother to 9. "Itīs my life," she says. She currently lives in a farm in Tennessee and considers herself a "country woman" now, far from the big city of Cincinnati.
