My name is Rebecca Cuevas De Caissie. I am a Hispanic-American. I have traveled and lived in various parts of the U.S.A. as well as some regions of Canada. I hope through sharing what our culture is about with those who have interest will dispel any myths that surround Hispanic Culture as well as bridge any gaps in understanding that may have arisen. It is my hope to give those who come here a place to share mutual interest in the wonderfully rich heritage of our culture. I was born and raised in Miami, Fl. Since leaving there, always kept in contact with the Hispanic communities in the areas where I have lived. From living abroad I have developed a greater love and appreciation for my culture. I have learned much about the great diversity that is unknown outside the Hispanic Community and found a common thread that has in effect bound us all into a family of sorts. I have a Certificate in Business Management. I currently am writing for an internation magazine covering Hispanic Culture as well as work as a freelance writer. I am a published poet in the U.S. as well as in Europe and have received special awards in connection with my publications in various anthologies. My newest book is titled Lamentations of The Caves published Dec 12th, 2005. My second collection of poetry, entitled Echos of The Caves, is due out in early 2006. To learn more about my books and appearances please go to
