Dennise and husband Paul have been RVing for over ten years. They have been full timers more than two years, out on the road, living and traveling in their RV home, a 2002 Damon Ultrasport nicknamed “The Aluminum Asylum”. The Ziaja’s have one son, Zack who is currently student teaching in the Edwardsville, IL area. Dennise is a native Chicagoan and graduated from Mundelein College in Chicago with a degree in Marketing and Communications. She has had a varied career holding management positions ranging from sales and marketing, to customer service and telemarketing to the insurance industry. Dennise has been published in several industry specific publications and, while employed in the Insurance industry, created a companywide series of training manuals and department procedural programs and written materials for her employer.

As early retirees, Dennise and her husband also “workamp” around the country, where they experience living in areas that they have an interest in exploring; and the pleasure of learning new skills.

Dennise’s hobbies while on the road traveling in the RV with her husband include knitting and pine needle basket making, journaling and of course, shopping. The Ziaja’s enjoy visiting historical sites while RVing, and rarely pass a historical marker along the road without stopping to investigate. They are active in several RV clubs, attending rallies, visiting with RVing friends and attending seminars on the RV Lifestyle.

Dennise hopes to bring her experiences in RVing to her audience covering such topics has how to stock the RV kitchen, quick and easy RV recipes for singles/ couples, campground and local attraction reviews and even RV decorating to make the “ home on wheels” comfortable and welcoming. As a prominent bumper sticker on the Ziaja’s RV states...”Home is where we park it!”
